How Does Auto-Out® Microwave Work?

Auto-Out® Microwave is a fully automatic fire suppression system designed specifically for cooktops installed beneath over-the-range microwaves or cabinets. It protects all four burners, helping stop dangerous cooking fires before they spread.

Each cooktop uses two units (left and right) to ensure complete coverage.

Back Burner Protection

​

  • After Auto-Out® Microwave is installed, the fire suppression "canister" is positioned above the back burners.

  • If a fire starts, direct flame contact activates the device, triggering the release of a fire-suppressing powder directly onto the flames.

  • The result: fast, targeted fire suppression, directly at the source.

Front Burner Protection

​

If the fire occurs on the front burners:

​

  • Flames will touch the front of the Auto-Out Microwave where a fire-sensing activator is located.

  • This causes the Auto-Out Microwave to automatically rotate, positioning the fire suppressor directly over the front burner.

  • The flame then activates the fire suppressor, now positioned over the front burner, releasing powder directly onto the fire.

 

This ensures full stovetop fire protection without manual intervention.
